Solution
An onsite workshop was conducted at the customer site with all departments represented. As the PIC Consultant took the group through each in step in the classic 8 discipline approach, the skills were applied to the actual EKG issue.
Benefit
Three potential root causes of the EKG issue were identified, with associated corrective action. One was validated as the major cause, while another was proven as a secondary cause. Both corrective actions resulted in the elimination of the field failures.
